Hi, I’m Kenzie Bell! Teaching students who struggle in the typical classroom environment is my passion. As a child, I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD. Hi, I’m Kenzie Bell! Teaching students who struggle in the typical classroom environment is my passion. As a child, I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD. Having navigated the special education system myself, I know exactly what it feels like to be the student pulled out of class for extra support. This firsthand experience is why I became a teacher. I hold a Master of Arts in Education from Wake Forest University and am fully licensed in K-6 Elementary Education and K-12 English as a Second Language. With four years of classroom experience and a decade of tutoring, I specialize in both math and reading for students ranging from rising 2nd graders to graduating 5th graders. My approach goes beyond academics; I have extensive experience working with students who have ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, and I love helping kids realize just how awesome their unique brains are. During the summer months, I offer intensive tutoring sessions designed to build confidence and ensure your child is fully prepared for the upcoming school year.
