Over the last two years, I have been steadily picking up guitar students, mostly at the beginner level. While my lessons are deeply informed by music theory, aural skills, & composition, I have found great joy in teaching guitar performance to both kids and adults (roughly ages 8-30). As a regularly gigging musician, I also like to teach practical skills such as improvisation to help get students comfortable in unfamiliar situations. Above all, I put the most emphasis on having fun, because that's what music is all about.
