From the very beginning of my academic journey, I’ve been fascinated by the power of mathematics to explain and solve real-world problems. I earned my Bachelor’s in Mathematics at Florida State University, completed a Master’s in Applied Mathematics at the University of Central Florida, and recently earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Florida.
Along the way, I gained extensive teaching and mentoring experience, serving as a Graduate Research Assistant and earning recognition such as the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. In these roles, I developed a strong ability to explain complex topics clearly, whether working with undergraduates on foundational math or helping graduate-level students approach advanced modeling and applied mathematics. My research, which has been published in peer-reviewed journals, also sharpens my ability to break down abstract concepts into practical, relatable ideas.
