My rigorous coursework has given me a strong theoretical foundation as well as practical problem-solving skills that I bring into my tutoring.
In addition to my academic background, I have spent several years tutoring both middle school and high school students in one-on-one and small-group settings. I have helped students across levels ranging from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus BC, often working with students who feel overwhelmed or discouraged by math.
My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and guiding students through the reasoning behind each solution. I strongly emphasize mastering fundamentals first, as I believe confidence and long-term success come from understanding core concepts rather than memorizing procedures.
Being a senior in highschol, I have very recently completed the same AP math courses and College Board exams that many of my students are currently preparing for. As a result, as I am familiar with what College Board and highschool curriculums are looking for, and can offer up-to-date strategies, study techniques, and insights that will help students ace these exams. Having navigated these courses myself just a few years ago, I understand both the academic challenges and the pressures students face, and I use that perspective to help them build confidence, improve performance, and succeed in their math classes.
