My academic experience has given me a strong foundation in subjects like math, physics, and statistics—areas I really enjoy helping others understand.
I’ve been tutoring for over a year through Learn To Be, a nonprofit that provides free academic support to underserved students. Most of my sessions have been one-on-one, covering everything from basic algebra to precalculus. I focus on creating a supportive space where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and really grasp the "why" behind each concept. Whether it's walking through step-by-step solutions, offering study tips, or just helping someone feel less overwhelmed, I try to meet students where they are and build up from there.
My goal as a tutor is to help students feel more confident and capable—not just to get the right answer, but to understand how they got there. I know how tough school can be at times, and I’ve seen how much of a difference it makes to have someone explain things clearly and patiently. I’m here to support that kind of growth, and I’d love to help however I can.
