I am a dedicated science educator with more than thirty years of experience teaching Chemistry and AP Chemistry. As the Science Department Chair at Columbia Falls High School, I have led curriculum development, mentored teachers, and ensured that instruction aligns with college level expectations. My students consistently earn strong AP scores and succeed in university science courses. I bring a calm, structured, and supportive approach to tutoring, and I work to help students build confidence through clear explanations and targeted practice.

In my tutoring, I help students master challenging Chemistry and AP Chemistry concepts, including bonding, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, thermodynamics, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, buffers, electrochemistry, and AP style problem solving. Whether a student is strengthening foundational skills or preparing for the AP exam, I tailor each session to their needs and learning style.

I hold a Master of Arts in Computer Technology in Education, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, and a Montana Secondary Teaching Certificate in Science. I have completed AP Summer Institute training for AP Chemistry and have extensive experience with college prep curriculum design. I work with high school and college students who are enrolled in Chemistry or AP Chemistry, preparing for exams, or seeking targeted support. My goal is to help every student strengthen understanding, build confidence, and achieve meaningful academic success in chemistry.
