My background includes a Master’s degree in English Language Learners, and my work is grounded in strong early literacy practices aligned with the Science of Reading. I have extensive experience supporting students in building foundational skills in reading, language, and comprehension, and I understand how to meet learners where they are and help them grow.
In our sessions, I focus on creating a supportive, structured environment where students feel comfortable and capable. I use clear, research-based strategies to build skills step by step, while also keeping lessons engaging and interactive. I believe that confidence is just as important as skill development, and I work to ensure each child experiences success. I also communicate regularly with families, providing simple strategies that can be used at home to support continued growth. My goal is to help each student become a more confident, independent learner while making the process positive and achievable.
