Hello! Welcome to my profile! I am a graduate of the Chemical Engineering program at Montana State University where I also completed a minor in Hispanic Studies. I graduated with highest honors and have since been working as a consultant engineer in my hometown. In my spare time, I also play with three friends as part of a string quartet.
I feel comfortable tutoring a variety of Middle School, High School, and College level mathematics and science including Geometry, Algebra 1/2, Precalculus, Calculus as well as Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physics. I also feel comfortable tutoring High School and College level Spanish. As a college student, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for an Organic Chemistry course and an Introduction to Engineering course where I really found my love for teaching. Helping students learn and enjoy math and science is my primary motivation. The most rewarding part of tutoring to me is the excitement and "breakthrough moment" when a concept that started as being foreign makes sense for the first time.
