I am a cum laude Graduate with a B.A. ‘80 in Biology from Temple University in Philadelphia PA, and then went immediately on to medical college at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME, and earned my medical degree (D.O. ‘84). I Practiced medicine for over 3 decades, and am now retired with 2 daughters in their 20’s — one in her Residency and one an Accountant — who were my two most prized students ;)

I Scored at highest percentile on my SAT Math exams (700+ in the old scoring system w/ 800 as maximal score) and I mostly never use a calculator as it slows me down. “Numbers don’t lie” is a favorite phrase and I have always LOVED Math. I then was accepted in the autumn of my Sr year into both allopathic (MD degree) and osteopathic (DO degree) medical colleges
As a physician I have greatly enjoyed mentoring and preventing pre-medical and medical students as well as interns and residents once I was farther along my career path. Ever since I’ve always realized a joy for reaching and have informally helped students with specific subject questions most closely mirroring a tutoring process with wonderful results I’m very proud of as well.
I look forward to working with all students who are genuinely interested in improving in my favorite subjects (mathematics, biology, spelling, geography). I believe i can help you out with and get you to actually LEARN not just memorize!
