Outside the classroom, I have been married for 25 years, and my wife and I have raised five children, now ages 16 to 23. I have served (and still do) as a pastor for nearly thirty years, which has deepened my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
I hold two degrees in religion and church history from Liberty University and Liberty Theological Seminary, and earned my teaching certification through the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are, building confidence, and helping them succeed through patient, focused, and engaging instruction.
