While my Spanish exposure waned in my late childhood, I resumed my education with 4 years of Spanish in high school where I maintain perfect grades, and began tutoring classmates in Spanish as well as serving as tutor and unofficial interpreter for the occasional immigrant student who spoke only Spanish. I continued my education with 5 semesters of Spanish in college. I participate in continuing education programs specific to medical and health care Spanish as well.
I love to write. I wrote for my high school newspaper for four years, and served as the editor for three of those years. I won 4 journalism excellence awards in high school, and wrote for newspapers, websites, and other publications following high school.
