I am a dedicated Education major with a strong academic record across math, reading, and English language arts. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and straight A’s all four years, and I am currently in college maintaining straight A’s with no course average below 97. I also earned a 30 in English and a 28 in Reading on the ACT. My academic success reflects strong study habits, discipline, and a deep understanding of the material I teach.
Throughout high school, I tutored younger students in one-on-one settings, primarily supporting middle school math and reading. That experience, along with my coursework as an Education major, has helped me develop effective instructional strategies and a strong understanding of how students learn best. I am passionate about teaching and committed to helping students build both skills and confidence.
My tutoring style is structured, patient, and step-by-step. In math, I focus on breaking problems down clearly so students understand the reasoning behind each step rather than memorizing formulas. In reading and ELA, I help students strengthen comprehension, writing clarity, vocabulary, and analytical thinking. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students become confident, independent learners.
