Hi! My name is Melissa, and I’m here to help you get out of that dissertation or research rut and start making real progress again. I hold a PhD in Human Capital Development, an MBA, and a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Microbiology, and I specialize in research methods, SPSS analysis (including mediation and moderation using PROCESS), and APA 7 writing.

I know how overwhelming the process can feel, especially when you’re staring at your data or your draft and aren’t sure what to do next, and my goal is to make things feel clear, manageable, and actionable.

I spent over 3 years working in a university Academic Success Center, supporting both undergraduate and graduate students one-on-one and in small groups. Most of my work focused on helping students understand research design, run and interpret statistical analyses, and turn their results into strong, APA-formatted writing. I’ve worked with students at all stages, from early coursework to final dissertation chapters, and I take a very practical, step-by-step approach so you leave each session knowing exactly what to do next.

In addition to tutoring, I’ve reviewed academic research for conferences and regularly support doctoral students behind the scenes with dissertations, literature reviews, and data analysis.
