My name is Geoffrey! I recently graduated from the Mississippi School for Math and Science and plan on attending Carnegie Mellon University majoring in Chemical Engineering and linguistics in the Fall. I was a Mississippi STARS "Star 30 plus" Student, and I was 1 of 20 Mississippi candidates for the US Presidential Scholars Program. With a 36 ACT and a 1500 SAT score, along with a 5 score on the AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Calculus BC exams, I'm confident I can provide help to students of all levels ranging from middle schoolers to rising college Freshmen.
I've tutored sessions (~10 people each session) for school-hosted tutorials for multiple math classes and have personally helped fellow students with chemistry and physics work as well. Ending high school, I was taking Organic Chemistry, Multivariable Calculus, and calculus-based physics: Electricity and Magnetism, among others, so I have a rich understanding of most topics students in those previously stated ranges may be covering. I've also worked with Math and Science Outreach clubs respectively to host programs and competitions for schools across the state.
I would love to do 1-on-1 tutoring with students around Meridian over the summer before university, and I'd be happy to go over any specific materials the students or parents want to work through.
