I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science to strengthen my skills in bioinformatics and computational biology. I have over three years of research experience in microbiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. I currently work as a Laboratory Technologist in Molecular Diagnostics, where I perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and diagnostic testing—skills I incorporate into my teaching to help students connect theory with practice.
While in college, I served as a Teacher’s Assistant for a microbiology lab, supporting students in mastering both lab techniques and core scientific concepts. After graduating, I taught ninth-grade biology in a high school classroom, gaining experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and adapting content to different learning styles. I now teach the same college microbiology lab I once TA’d, working with pre-nursing and pre-med students to develop their technical skills and scientific understanding.
I enjoy working with students across different age groups and academic levels. My approach is patient, supportive, and practical—focusing on breaking down complex topics and building confidence. Whether you're preparing for a test, writing a lab report, or trying to strengthen your foundation in science, I’m here to help you reach your goals.
