My teaching and tutoring experience spans several years, beginning with a six-month teaching stint in a school setting. Subsequently, I transitioned to online tutoring with Elevate K-12, where I focused on elementary and middle school reading and math. During my tenure, I earned the distinction of Top Tutor in October 2018, which led to a promotion to Academic Performance Manager. In this role, I had the opportunity to mentor and support other tutors, further honing my educational leadership and student engagement skills.
Specializing in elementary math, Algebra 1 and 2, and Calculus 1 and 2, I bring a diverse skill set to my tutoring sessions. I advocate for a student-centered approach, allowing children to self-guide and set their own learning pace. This method encourages adaptability and fosters a deeper understanding of the material.
