Hello! I'm Jennifer, a dedicated special education teacher with 12 years of experience helping students thrive academically and personally. I have a Bachelor of Liberal Studies and a Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education. My education and training has allowed me to focus my instruction on the areas of English, Reading, Writing, Health, History, Social Studies, Geography, and Art, with some Science and basic Elementary Math. I have worked in many capacities in elementary education, middle school, and high school.

My experience has taught me that not all students learn the same, and that instruction should be individualized to fit the needs of the learner rather than the teacher. My passion lies in creating tailored learning experiences that empower each student to reach their full potential. Whether it's supporting reading comprehension, developing study skills, or enhancing social-emotional learning, I'm committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and understood.

I believe that every student can succeed regardless of their abilities or diversities. I strive to not only give students a foundation to build obtainable goals, but to also teach them to build and maintain their own foundations along the way as they progress through life.
