Hello, my name is Natalie. I am a third grade teacher at a public school in Mississippi. I have a double major in Intercultural Studies and Elementary Education. I also have completed certificates in math, English, science, social studies, and reading. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade at 3 different schools across the state.

Hello, my name is Natalie. I am a third grade teacher at a public school in Mississippi. I have a double major in Intercultural Studies and Elementary Education. I also have completed certificates in math, English, science, social studies, and reading. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade at 3 different schools across the state.

Since being a junior in high school, I have been tutoring and teaching. I have taught violin and piano lessons and tutored in math, English, science, and social studies. I have four younger siblings which I also have tutored. I also spent three and a half months teaching ESL in Southeast Asia.

I enjoy being able to help students reach academic success. My goal as a tutor and as a teacher is to scaffold each students learning so that they might reach their highest academic achievement.

Ever since I was little I have enjoyed math. Being in the public school system has allowed me to see how many students struggle in this area. Students do not enjoy math, in fact, many of them dread it. This is something I hope to change in the students I tutor. Math can be fun and exciting!

I currently have my elementary education certification in math. I have taken college algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics. I also have taken teaching fundamental mathematics one and two.
