I retired in 2003 with twenty-five years of teaching. I have taught both in high school and middle school. My career started at Oak Grove Middle School teaching Life Science, Earth Science and Biology. While at Oak Grove I was the Cheerleader Sponsor, Science Club Sponsor, Student Council Sponsor, and Science Fair Co-Coordinator. I moved to Jackson in 1985 went to Forest Hill High School where I taught AP, Honors and General Chemistry. Also I was a sponsor of Colonels’ Classic, a Science Coach for Science Olympics, Sponsor of National Honor Society, and Science Department Head.
