Hello! My name is Abigail and I have been tutoring ACT Prep for five years. I scored a 36 on the ACT in 2019 and have been working with clients ever since. I have worked extensively with every subtest of the ACT and my students have gained as many as ten composite points after working with me! I have tutored approximately 40 students long-term and I am excited to help more clients gain the skills and confidence they need to maximize their ACT score.

I am currently completing two degrees from the University of Alabama. I will graduate with a 4.0 this spring with my B.A. in history, and I am working towards my M.A. in history, which I aim to complete next spring. I graduated as salutatorian from my class in high school, I was recognized as a United States Presidential Scholar in 2020 as the top female student from my state, I am a National Merit Scholar, I was named the STAR Student of my class, and I am a published historian.

My lessons are conducted online and I combine informational lectures with hands-on problem solving. My students learn the important facts, formulas, and rules that are tested on the ACT, while also studying test taking strategies. I aid students with time management, and I have extensive experience working with students who have time accommodations. My students learn to identify the skills being tested in ACT questions, apply the appropriate rules and strategies, and defend their reasoning so as to boost their confidence. I am engaging, lively, and I make every session fun! I am excited to work with your student!
