I specialize in helping students make sense of math when the material feels overwhelming or disconnected. Many students understand parts of algebra but get stuck when steps start stacking together. My goal is to slow the process down, rebuild the missing piece, and help them see how the structure of the problem fits together.

I’ve always been someone who needs to understand why something works before it makes sense. Because of that, teachers often relied on me to help clarify concepts when classmates were confused. If something didn’t click for me, it was usually a sign that the explanation needed to be stripped down and revisited.

In high school, my senior project focused on tutoring Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II. I worked directly with struggling students, helped improve test performance, and was recognized for the impact of that work. Throughout school and college, I was frequently the person classmates turned to during study groups to break down difficult math concepts step-by-step.

My tutoring style is structured, calm, and foundation-focused. I don’t rely on memorization tricks or unnecessary jargon. Instead, I help students understand the underlying logic of algebra so they can apply it across problems with confidence.

My academic background includes strong performance in mathematics coursework, and I currently work in a healthcare field that relies heavily on analytical thinking and problem-solving. This perspective helps me approach tutoring with patience, clarity, and practical explanation.

I work best with high school, college, and adult students who feel capable but lost—especially those encountering algebra again at a higher level and realizing earlier foundations didn’t fully click the first time.
