At the age of 12, I was introduced to teaching by helping my mother teach abacus at her school. Since I started college, I’ve tutored many students, taught 7th and 8th grade science as a long-term substitute teacher, worked with children at the Youth Center at Dover AFB. I received, with first class honor, bachelor’s degree in physics from a top university in Thailand. While I do not have a teacher’s certificate, I have over a decade of tutoring experience and a special interest in developmental and educational psychology, which makes me an extremely effective tutor.
Other than the fact that I have a lot of tutoring experience, I truly believe in elasticity in skills. Anyone can get better at math through appropriate guidance and practice. Lastly, helping students excel is, by far, my most favorite thing. I take great joy in seeing my students' "a-ha moments."
I have been tutoring math since 2009 and helping dozens of students increase their grades and test score. I was always in the 90th percentile in all math classes and tests including the SAT that I took in high school. Through my physics degree (with 3.75 GPA), I also had to take many advanced math classes.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in physics with first class honor. I've also been tutoring science since 2009.
