My name is Sean A. I earned a BS in Biology from Jackson State University and the PhD degree in Physiology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2004. I taught both didactic and on-line courses in Pathophysiology (Cardiovascular/Renal) to nursing students for 4 years, so I understand the challenges associated with earning a degree within the classical “brick and mortar” as well as on-online educational settings. I currently teach an on-line undergraduate Physiology course with South University. In all, I have seven years of teaching experience within my current field.
Additional Work Experience:
In addition to my years of experience teaching Pathophysiology to nursing students, I have also taught an on-line Ethics course as well as on-line Writing for Funding. During my graduate years I conducted biomedical research in the areas of hypertension, obesity, diabetes and sickle cell anemia. I have a strong interest in area of health disparities.
Why I Enjoy Teaching:
Teaching is a skill that I have valued since an early age. My teachers help to establish an educational foundation so strong that it has help me to become the individual that I am today. Their sacrifice has afforded me opportunities that I could never have imagined growing up in a small rural Mississippi town. I would love to extend the same opportunity to you through tutorial services.
