I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Secondary Mathematics Education from Southern New Hampshire University, along with a minor in English. I also earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas and am currently completing a Specialist degree in Educational Administration from the University of Mississippi, with a focus on instructional leadership and student achievement.
During college, I served as Head Tutor at the campus tutoring center and was recognized as Tutor of the Month. I tutored high school students, college peers, and adult learners in one-on-one and small-group settings. My tutoring experience includes elementary and middle school math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, ACT and SAT Math prep, PRAXIS prep, and Reading and Writing support.
Immediately after graduating, I began working as a middle school math teacher. My students consistently outperformed their peers, achieved 100% growth on the state math assessment, and demonstrated strong gains in coursework and test performance. I also advised the school math team, where my students placed first at regional and state competitions. I currently serve as my school’s in-house tutor, supporting students across multiple grade levels and ability levels.
My tutoring approach is structured, individualized, and supportive. I focus on identifying learning gaps, breaking concepts into clear steps, and teaching the why behind the math so students build confidence and independence. I pride myself on my ability to work with any student, at any level, and help them see real growth in both understanding and results.
