I have 18+ years experience in teaching, tutoring, coaching, substituting, home-schooling/co-ops, etc. I have more than 30+ years experience working with ages birth through college. I have teaching experience in many settings to include PreK/daycare, public schools, charter schools, military overseas schools, private school/religious school, home-schooling privately & in co-ops, etc.
I have 2-3 years of experience with online teaching & really enjoy teaching virtually. I love helping students grasp new concepts & meet standards in a fun, effective way, to the best of my ability. I have certifications in 5-12 Science & Language Arts/English/Reading. I have taught all core subjects & many electives for PreK through 8th grade & subbed/tutored for K-12th & some college tutoring as well. I home-schooled my own children in PreK through 6th materials & were always 2-4 grade levels above peers. I have taught/tutored/home-schooled for many students for these grade levels. I have taught Elementary K-6th for around 18 years. I have taught Reading and Phonics to numerous students & is one of my most favorite things to teach! I have taught Spelling to numerous students & usually do a 36 week lesson curriculum for each grade level, along with interactive games.
