My name is John and I am currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. I have taken and gotten all A's in all the core engineering math/science classes (Calculus I-III, Physics I-II, Differential Equations, etc.) and strengthened my understanding of these topics outside of class. I am an avid STEM fan and I believe that there is no topic that is insurmountable. Many people have a hard time with math and science classes, and I have found (for myself and others I have tutored) that that comes from there being few real world examples/applications in class. My tutoring style tries to connect core ideas in STEM, learned blindly in the classroom, to real world applications which may apply to you.
I have worked as a tutor for the school I attend for a year now, tutoring those classes listed before and more. The age range of people I have tutored is around 19-25 years old. I also have experience not in a professional setting tutoring younger age groups (my cousins, friends siblings, etc.).
I hope to help students fit the puzzle pieces together and provide the best tutoring experience I can. I am open to suggestions, comments, and preferences and I will try to cater a tutoring session to a student's needs to provide the best possible learning experience.
