Hi everyone, my name is Haley I received my BS, MS, and PhD in chemical engineering in 2017, 2021, and 2024 all at the University of Arkansas. I’ve spent a majority of my life studying, researching, and excelling in the academia.
I currently work a normal full time work week as a facilities & ultra-pure water engineer. Although I’m very grateful for my new career in industry, I have always wanted to remain in the academic world. Inspiring young scholars whether they be in grade school, high school, or college has always been something incredibly important to me.
Starting with grade school, I have about a year’s worth of experience with teaching children aged 3-6 at a private preschool named La Petite Academy in Fayetteville, AR. Although my experience with high school students has been limited, I have been a crucial part of the transitional period from high school to college for students while tutoring at the University of Arkansas. To expand further, I spent the last 2 years of my academic career tutoring student athletes at the University of Arkansas in many subjects including but not limited to the following: chemistry, organic/biochemistry, biology, algebra, and calculus.
Our youth is our future and it is so important to foster their growth and development, especially when it comes to academics! I look forward to hearing from you all about your specific needs and assisting where I can!
