I am an Information Technology management professional with over 20 years of experience in the technology field. I hold an MBA with an emphasis in Cybersecurity from Webster University, a BA in Management, and a minor in Computer Science. I am certified as a PMP (PMI), CISSP (ISC2), and SAFe Agile Product Manager/Product Owner, and I previously taught Network Concepts and CompTIA Network+ exam preparation to adult learners at Galveston College.

My teaching approach is centered on understanding how each student learns best and delivering information in a targeted, approachable way. I have a strong ability to break down complex technical and business concepts into clear, easy-to-understand explanations, especially for non-technical learners. I am patient, adaptable, and skilled at adjusting my methods to fit different learning styles and goals.

In addition to Computer Science and IT, I have experience tutoring Spanish, English grammar, Microsoft Office, Business Law, general business, and resume writing. I have over 20 years of experience speaking and writing in Spanish and live in a dual-language household where Spanish is used regularly. I also have 15 years of volunteer experience teaching English to non-native speakers.

I am passionate about communication and public speaking and have been a guest speaker at events in Houston, TX, and St. Louis, MO, as well as a guest on KMOX radio and various podcasts.
