I have extensive experience working with a variety of high school, college, and graduate level students in test prep, particular courses, and general study and testing skills. I work with each student as an individual, once I understand a student’s goals, we make an individualized plan to achieve those goals. I also use my background in social work to assist students with studying and test-taking anxiety and help students develop the skills to manage this anxiety. My work has yielded results, from improving students SAT, ACT, LSAT and Bar Exam scores to building confidence to getting them through a difficult class. If you need academic support, don’t struggle alone, get in touch with me and let’s make a plan!

As a younger student, I hated math. It would send me into a panic! But by learning testing skills and practicing in ways that were helpful, I learned to be pretty good at it, even if it will never be my favorite. For math, I focus on building the Big Three- knowledge, skills, and confidence. Students who work with me learn the basics of mathematics on their tests or in their course, develop the test-taking skills to get the best results, and enter tests knowing they are as ready as possible.

I have always loved reading, but a quickly learned when I started taking standardized tests that test reading is very different from any other kind. I find that most students I work with struggle with speed and anxiety on reading comprehension type tests, and I have many tricks to help students with any learning style improve their reading speed and reduce their testing anxiety to get the best results on this portion of the ACT, SAT, GRE, or similar exam. I also provide a range of study strategies that students can use to improve their vocabulary, dramatically improving test scores and confidence.

The LSAT and Bar Exams are different from any other exam, and require specialized help! I te
