I have taught at a state university in Illinois since 2009 and am currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science. I have extensive experience managing class sizes of 4 - 75 students. In addition to my academic experience, I have conducted field research in Rwanda and am the political adviser for a development project in northern Ecuador (2010 - present). I bring my knowledge of development and global politics to every class and my educational background has fully prepared me to effectively teach to a wide variety of learners.
