About Ruth

Bio

I have been tutoring for over 20 years, mostly focusing on Mathematics. I have tutored students with many challenges including learning and physical disabilities. I am very friendly, open, patient and flexible with my students. I have spent a lot of time the last few years tutoring elementary and young middle school students and adults alike! I really enjoy helping students build a more positive connection with Maths!

I've worked with a variety of learning disabilities starting with disadvantaged and at risk college students (those from a low income as well as those entering college with less than a 2.5 GPA). I then tutored in an office which specialized in learning and physical disabilities for 2 years. I have since been working with learning and physically disabled students on my own doing private tutoring.
