I'm a pre-med student at WashU majoring in Biology, where I've received Dean's List every semester. My strong foundation in chemistry, mathematics, and life sciences comes from excelling in notoriously rigorous pre-med coursework, and I'm excited to share that knowledge with students across multiple levels. I'm flexible, from elementary and middle school math to high school AP Chemistry and college-level general chemistry.

I've spent the past few years informally tutoring friends and younger classmates in chemistry and math. Through one-on-one sessions, I've helped numerous students improve their grades and understanding. Instead of providing answers, my teaching approach focuses on building student confidence and independence. I ask leading questions that guide students through problem-solving, allowing them to discover solutions themselves and understand the "why" behind each concept. This method helps students gain confidence in their abilities and transfer that knowledge to new problems they encounter.

After working through problems together, I like to review what we got right and wrong. This, I have found, reinforces learning and helps students approach similar problems independently in the future. I work well with all age groups and adapt my explanations based on each student's level and learning style. No matter the age or need, I'm happy to work with you and help build confidence and mastery!
