Experienced Bible/Theology teacher. Seminary Grad. 20 yrs teaching.

Pete W.

Hi. I'm Pete W. I've been reading, studying, and teaching Bible for 30 years. In 2006, I received a Master of Arts in Exegetical Theology. In Seminary I loved the depth of study, the original languages, and church history. I've been teaching now for 19 years (and counting).

I've taught through (nearly) every book of the Bible. I can help with ordination exams, apologetics, translation history, and many other pertinent topics.

I have a very relational style. I connect well with students. I use lecture, story telling, humor, conversation, questions, thought experiments, challenges, and other strategies that help the student(s) invest in their learning. Sometimes I use diagrams. I've been known to wear thinly veiled disguises to pose as a 'guest lecturer'. I'm sort of always thinking of how to teach. How can I get this idea into that person's head?

I'm also fluent in Spanish. I got a degree in Spanish many years ago and taught it for about 15 years. I've led mission trips to the Spanish-speaking world, I've served as a translator. I have a conversational approach to language learning that mimics our natural ability to learn language. It's a ton of fun.
