As a recent high school graduate and current college student in a prestigious dual-degree program, I understand what today's coursework and testing looks like with firsthand experience. I scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT, was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction, receiving scores of 4s and 5s on several AP exams such as AP Biology, AP English Language & Literature, APUSH, AP World History, AP Government & Politics, and AP Spanish Language & Literature. Beyond academics, I'm also a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) alum with award-winning research experience, so I love helping students with STEM subjects, advanced coursework, and finding research (crafting the perfect resume and cold emailing!)
I have extensive experience tutoring virtually through Zoom and Google Meets, always in one-on-one settings that's tailored to a student's individual needs. My experience includes ESOL tutoring for Afghan refugee elementary students, Reading support for 3rd graders, 7th grade math tutoring, English tutoring for Ukrainian students, and High school after-school tutoring programs. I also offer bilingual support with a Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and fluent Pashto!
As a student, I have flexible scheduling and am available online! I make personalized lesson plans for my students and incorporate their interests to make it more engaging.
