I spent five years as a Mathematics and Computer Science Teacher at the secondary level in Jamaica, where I designed curriculum, assessed student performance, and helped students who believed they "just weren't math people" discover that they absolutely could get it.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-centered. I meet learners exactly where they are and build from there, making sure understanding is real before we move forward.
After teaching I transitioned into finance, spending eight years at Bank of America in roles spanning fraud analysis, mortgage operations, and client relationship management. Throughout that career I consistently applied mathematical thinking to complex data sets, compliance requirements, and financial problem-solving. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics at the University of Missouri - St. Louis, alongside an Actuarial Studies Certificate, which means I am actively working through advanced mathematics myself and understand the challenges students face from the inside.
I am available to tutor Mathematics at all levels, from foundational arithmetic and algebra through calculus, statistics, and beyond. Whether a student needs help building confidence in the basics or pushing through advanced coursework, I bring both the teaching experience and the real-world mathematical application to make sessions genuinely useful. My goal is always the same one I had in the classroom, not just to help you get the right answer, but to make sure you truly understand why it is right.
