I am a freshman at Johns Hopkins University studying chemistry and physics, currently completing coursework in Organic Chemistry II and Classical Mechanics II. My academic background gives me a strong foundation in the subjects I tutor — including chemistry, physics, calculus, and standardized test preparation in math and science.
My tutoring experience began in high school, where I worked with students and classmates both in person and over Zoom. This continued into college, where I have helped peers navigate challenging technical coursework.
I tailor my approach to each student. Some need a completely different explanation than what they heard in class. Others understand the concept but freeze when applying it to problems. I try to figure out which situation I am dealing with in the first session and adjust accordingly. My goal is always to build genuine understanding rather than just get through the homework.
I am patient, thorough, and invested in my students' success. As a tutor, I believe my primary job is to teach my students the skills they need to succeed on their own, so they can continue to thrive outside of the time we have together.
