I am a PhD-trained scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry, pharmacology, and molecular and cell biology. My academic and research career has focused on understanding how cells respond to drugs and biological signals, and I have several peer-reviewed publications in these areas. Through my work, I have developed strong expertise in biochemical pathways, receptor signaling, experimental design, and data analysis.

In addition to research, I have significant experience explaining complex scientific concepts to students and colleagues. I enjoy breaking down difficult topics such as metabolism, enzyme kinetics, cell signaling pathways, and pharmacological mechanisms into clear, intuitive ideas that students can easily understand and apply. My goal is not only to help students solve problems, but also to help them build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.

I can assist students with subjects such as biochemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology, and cell biology, as well as help prepare for exams like the MCAT. I also enjoy helping students interpret scientific figures, understand experimental results, and think critically about biological systems.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I like to adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style, whether that means working through practice problems together, using visual explanations, or discussing real biological examples to reinforce concepts.

If you are looking for help understanding challenging biological or biochemical topics, I would be happy to work with you and help you reach your academic goals.

Biology

Biology

I hold a PhD in Chemistry and chemical biology and am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Washington University in St. Louis, with a strong focus on molecular and cellular biology, including GPCR signaling and cell communication. I have authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and received honors such as the SLU Dissertation Fellowship and Outstanding Chemistry PhD award. I have extensive teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant and have trained and mentored many undergraduate students in biology and related subjects. My expertise includes cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry, and I focus on explaining complex biological processes in a clear, intuitive, and student-friendly way.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I hold a PhD in Chemistry and am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Washington University in St. Louis, specializing in molecular pharmacology, GPCR signaling, and biophysical chemistry. I have authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and received honors including the SLU Dissertation Fellowship and Outstanding Chemistry PhD award. I have extensive teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant and have trained and mentored many undergraduate students in both coursework and research settings. My expertise spans general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry, and I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, intuitive explanations tailored to each student’s learning style.
Pharmacology

Pharmacology

I am a PhD researcher in Chemistry with extensive experience in biochemistry, pharmacology, and molecular biology. My work focuses on GPCR signaling, opioid receptor pharmacology, and molecular dynamics simulations, with multiple peer-reviewed publications. I have strong experience teaching and mentoring students, simplifying complex concepts in metabolism, enzymology, and cell signaling. I tailor my approach to help students excel in coursework, exams like the MCAT/ACT, and research understanding.
