Hey! My name is Logan, and I'm a recent graduate of the University of Missouri, where I graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Economics (BS) and Political Science (BA).

I've gathered years of experience in tutoring economics to undergraduate students. I led my University's economics tutoring program, where I tutored hundreds of students in one-on-one and group settings. I also oversaw thousands of students tutored in exam reviews for economics courses. I've tutored students in classes, such as introductory microeconomics/macroeconomics, intermediate micro/macro, game theory, public finance, etc. When tutoring economics, I like to use multiple approaches to ensure my students are prepared for success. For example, I like to solve problems in different ways—like conceptually, mathematically, and graphically—to equip folks with all the tools they'll need for success on exam days.

I also worked as a writing tutor in my University's Writing Center, where I earned an award upon graduation for my tutoring! I've gained experience in tutoring the writing of students from many majors. I've tutored college essays, written assignments, personal statements, application materials, etc. When tutoring writing, my focus is always on my students' needs and questions. Furthermore, my focus is primarily on elevating the substance of my students' work (things like thesis statements, organization of paragraphs, clarity of explanation, use of research, meeting assignment requirements, etc.) while ensuring that their independent voices and thoughts are maintained.

In order to obtain these college-level tutoring jobs, I had to pass multiple trainings, maintain high grades, and even take a semester-long course that taught me how to be an effective tutor.

I've been tutoring for over 3 years, and I've helped hundreds of students! I enjoy tutoring because I get to teach the subjects that I love while helping others navigate the challenges of studying.
