Bio

Hi there! I’m a fourth-year medical student with over 10 years of experience tutoring math and science. I’ve always loved teaching and helping students find that “aha!” moment when things click. Over the years, I’ve worked with middle school, high school, and college students, focusing on building confidence, breaking down tough concepts, and finding fun ways to learn.

I have served as a teaching assistant for both Intro to Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Throughout graduate school, I was the peer quantitative tutor for my entire program, helping students master statistical concepts and data analysis. I also have extensive experience with R and SAS, which I used for coursework, research, and tutoring support.

Whether we’re tackling algebra, chemistry, or ACT test prep, I meet each student where they are and adapt my approach to fit their learning style. My goal is to make studying feel less stressful and a little more enjoyable. With a degree in Applied Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, you can be assured that I bring both experience and expertise to every session.

Outside of school, I love playing piano, hiking, and spending time with my mini goldendoodle, Roscoe.
