Dear Students,

I am excited to help you achieve your goals in medicine! A little about me: I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Chicago with a degree in biological sciences. I am currently a fourth-year medical student at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. I scored a 277 (99th percentile) on Step 2 and achieved distinction based on shelf exam performance in medical school. I also scored 526 (100th percentile) on the MCAT and passed Step 1 on my first attempt. Throughout medical school, I’ve focused on identifying the highest-yield resources and strategies to succeed on shelf and board exams, and I enjoy helping others do the same.

Regarding my teaching experience, I have over four years of experience as a tutor and teaching assistant. I have tutored numerous students preparing for the MCAT, USMLE shelf exams, board exams (Step 1 and 2), and various college science tests. I also worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Chicago for several years, during which I helped students master complex biology material. I am willing to meet students where they are at and adjust our plan based on their strengths and weaknesses. Students appreciate my general approach of using practice questions to improve content knowledge, enhance problem-solving abilities, and build a powerful level of clinical reasoning. I focus greatly on forming efficient and effective approaches for patient vignettes. The ability to quickly spot the relevant information in a board-style vignette is key to performing well on USMLE exams. I help students hone this skill, resulting in improved test performance. I also work very hard to empower students with advice on study habits, proper resources, and test-taking approaches. Overall, I find great satisfaction in seeing my students improve and watching them progress as future doctors! I look forward to potentially working with you!
