Over the past 11 years, I have worked with students ranging from 4th grade through adulthood, including college students and adult learners pursuing additional education or graduate testing. I have extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning differences. I enjoy helping each person I interact with achieve their goals. Because every person learns differently, I believe in creating a connection with each person I tutor so that I can tailor my tutoring approach to their needs.
My middle and high school students typically seek support in math, science, English, and ACT preparation, while my college and adult learners often work with me on college-level math, graduate exam preparation, writing, and essay support.
My teaching philosophy centers on creating an encouraging, personalized learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I believe academic success comes not only from understanding the material, but also from developing effective study habits and problem-solving skills that last beyond a single class or exam.
