As someone who went from a 509 to a recent 521 (130 C/P, 129 CARS, 130 B/B, 132 P/S) on the MCAT in 4 months, I'm here to share my up-to-date tips/tricks and help create YOUR study strategy that clicks. I’m currently a premedical neuroscience major at Washington University in St. Louis who has completed all core science courses (gen chem, organic chem, physics, biology, biochem). I have been tutoring for the past 6 years, from students 3rd grade-college level in subjects including math, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, college general chemistry, and college physics courses. For the past two years, I've worked as a 1-on-1 mentor for college-aged peers and emphasize colloquial, student-centered structure that efficiently addresses each student's unique needs.
I know how frustrating it is to tackle the MCAT, especially areas that I wished I had more support in during self-study, so we'll work on how to best retain/solidify content, build a schedule with stamina & confidence, how to skillfully review your wrong answers, and maximizing your strengths while drilling your weaknesses. I offer help on any MCAT section. With the right guidance, increasing your score is VERY possible and if I can do it, you can too.
