Charles L.

Charles L. is a semi retired Finance Professional with an MBA from Harvard University and a BSBA from the University of Missouri. He previously held Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.

Mr. L. currently serves as the Founding Managing Principal for the Neubaden Group, LLC, an advisor to manufacturers and specialty contractors, particularly with respect to mergers and acquisitions.

His previous financial experience includes serving 3 years as Co Founder/Chief Financial Offer for a $125 Million retail chain, 2 years as Controller/VP Finance for a lumber yard, and 13 years as an investment broker primarily with Smith Barney and Oppenheimer. He was also the architect of several domestic and cross border distribution agreements in the areas of material handling, RFID, robotics, unattended libraries, self check systems, payment systems, precision tooling, film and music.

Charles has undergraduate and graduate level business teaching experience that includes stints with the University of Missouri, St. Louis and Amber University of Dallas. In these instances, he combined textbook, cases and local business persons as presenters. One on one discussions also occurred with students. Students rated him very highly albeit not easy.

Early in his career, Mr. L. was the Midwest lead technical sales trainer for a global computer company combining one on one sessions with group presentations. In general, he created his own material. His students commented upon his willingness to give them the time they needed as well as his ability to make technology accessible.

Charles has trained many professionals over the years in areas as diverse as business intelligence to risk management.
