Currently a mathematics student at the University of Missouri St. Louis. As a non-traditional student, I have tutored math at various levels for around 8 years. Initially, I started off as a full-time volunteer math teacher with Step-Up for Students in Florida, where I worked with middle school-aged children. After a year, I moved on to tutoring math at the college I received my associate's degree from, Pasco-Hernando State. I worked there for three years and then started working at the local Mathnasium, where I tutored children at various levels of primary school. Once I graduated, I transferred to the University of Missouri in St. Louis, where I have been working as a math tutor for the last two years. I have also been the TA for multiple courses such as trigonometry, college algebra, calculus 2, and currently multivariable calculus.
Due to my years of tutoring, I have much experience tutoring subjects ranging from fractions to multivariable calculus, and at all ages. My teaching experience has varied from one-on-one sessions, such as when tutoring privately or at a college tutoring center, to larger groups in a classroom setting, such as when I worked as a TA.
