Experience, methods, and approach: About twenty-five years of teaching and tutoring experience in statistics, MIS, MS Office, operations management, Statistical Quality Control, etc. As a certified tutor on the other platforms, I have been tutoring High School and College students in subjects like Statistics, Precalculus, Prealgebra, Trigonometry, Geometry etc, and have helped many students prepare for the AP examI, Accuplacer tests, Regents exam etc. I am comfortable with the use of most Statistical software and can help students learn the use of technology like graphing calculators, Excel, Stat Crunch, SPSS and Minitab.

I have regularly volunteered to teach ESL at a public library for the past 9 years. I adapt to the levels of my students quickly and help them improve their grades and develop more confidence in attempting and solving problems. I guide them on how to approach a given question, give them important tips to decide which formula to apply in given situations, and application of technology. I am extremely patient with the students but value their time. If students can share material, I prepare for the session in advance. Central to my teaching are these two principles distilled from my years of teaching and tutoring: being adaptive and customizing my tutoring for optimum learning and providing opportunities for better learning and longer retention. Through these, I strive to instill in my students intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness and confidence in grasping concepts and solving problems.
