Hello! I have tutored students from 4th grade through college and beyond since 2016, and taught Literature, Rhetoric, and Writing as a college and university-level instructor since 2014. I have a doctorate in English, a Master's in Education and Learning Technology, and a BA in History and Latin.

Every semester, I work with a handful of K-12 students and university students as a private tutor, specializing in a classical education approach to literature, reading, and composition. I focus on developing critical thinking, analysis, and rhetorical skills, while building reading comprehension and strong writing competency. I have experience working with middle and high school students on coursework, essays, AP Language, SAT test prep, and applications. I work with college students not only on their courses and writing projects, but also on their job, internship, and graduate school applications.

I also regularly work with homeschool students and their parents, designing and implementing individualized programs for their curriculum needs in ELA, writing, literature, college prep, and more.

Knowledgeable tutor

Natalie’s knowledge about the subject is well above my expectations. She’s been very patient with my daughter and she understands her situation and believes in her capabilities. She has her own way of getting through my daughter’s way of thinking and try to turn it in a positive and productive outcome.

Patient, prepared and knowledgeable

Natalie helped me with organizing my thoughts, thesis statement, and proofreading my paper. She was very helpful and patient. The syllabus was sent to Natalie prior to the session so no time was wasted on discussing what the paper format or guidelines.
