I am an economist with a Master’s degree in Economics from Georgetown University (Summa Cum Laude). I have served as a teaching assistant and professor’s assistant in Economics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Econometrics, and I have extensive experience tutoring university students. Previously, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), supporting courses in Econometrics and Game Theory.

Over the past five years, I have tutored students from universities in the United States and Europe. I have worked with different academic levels, from Bachelor’s degrees to PhD programs. At the undergraduate level, I focus mainly on econometrics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics. My teaching strategy is to explain concepts as clearly as possible and reinforce them by solving many examples and problem sets, helping students understand that once the logic is clear, the material is manageable.

At more advanced levels, such as Master’s and PhD programs, I primarily tutor students on research projects. These sessions combine economic theory with data analysis and programming to answer research questions.

A good tutor must be patient, knowledgeable, and able to understand each student’s individual needs. Teaching online was challenging at first, but I quickly adapted. Today, my online classes are highly engaging and interactive, often more effective than in-person sessions. Teaching and sharing knowledge with students is my passion.

I usually begin tutoring with a short introductory conversation to understand the student’s background, goals, and difficulties. Students’ needs vary widely, from building confidence in problem-solving to clarifying complex equations and theories. After reviewing the student’s materials (slides, books, and problem sets), I prepare lessons aligned with their coursework. Each session combines theory and practice. After a few classes, I conduct brief evaluations to track progress and ensure improvement.
