I successfully completed a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Human Services with Highest Honors; Summa Cum Laude and successfully completed a Master's of Science in Psychology with Honors. I have 10 plus years of experience tutoring K-12 students, experience being a one-on-one paraprofessional working with K-12 students, and experience as a teacher assistant in classrooms assisting with project preparation, group studies, and grading. I've successfully helped students, including college students, complete assignments, improve time management, and improve in study skills for upcoming tests.
I have many references that can help in any subject that a student may be struggling with. In addition, I have a variety of examples and study guides that can make learning, not only fun but easy to remember. Furthermore, I have materials that can be used for the summertime when students are out of school just to keep their minds focused and refreshed on what they've learned and prepare them for the following year. The platform I use offers worksheets, quizzes, study guides, videos for understanding and tests.
Lastly, I am very thorough and details when helping students, keeping records of what we worked on, and the progress being made. I will also report what needs to be a priority in the sessions to strengthen and encourage any subject that may need more attention and focus.
