I am a board-certified physician assistant (PA-C) and recent graduate of a physician assistant program. I passed the PANCE on my first attempt with a score of 592, compared with a reference-group mean of 458. I also scored above 94% on all of my End of Rotation (EOR) exams and approximately 20 points above the national average on my clinical PACKRAT. My strongest areas are clinical medicine, EOR and PANCE-style exam preparation, clinical reasoning, and helping students identify the high-yield information that matters most.
My tutoring experience began in college, where I tutored another undergraduate student in biology for a semester in a one-on-one setting. During PA school, I also frequently helped classmates during informal study sessions by reviewing difficult clinical topics, working through practice questions, and explaining concepts in a simpler, more organized way. Those experiences taught me how differently people learn and how helpful it can be to break large amounts of material into manageable pieces.
My tutoring approach is practical, supportive, and individualized. I focus on clinical presentations, diagnosis and management, practice questions, clinical vignettes, test-taking strategy, and identifying weak areas. I also enjoy creating simple mnemonics, memory tricks, and other easy-to-remember ways to organize difficult material. I can share my perspective on the study resources and exam-prep tools I personally found most and least helpful during PA school and PANCE preparation. Sessions can be tailored to a student’s specific goals, whether that means preparing for an EOR, PACKRAT, PANCE, or another clinical medicine exam. My goal is to help students study more efficiently, understand not only why the correct answer is correct but also why the other answer choices are incorrect, and retain important information in a way that actually sticks.
