I hold a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. My academic and professional background is rooted in the life sciences, with advanced training in biology, biochemistry, genetics, pharmaceutics, and related subjects. I previously worked for 4 years as a Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Sciences, where I taught undergraduate students in pharmaceutics, biochemistry, physical pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, and biotechnology, and guided them through both theoretical concepts and laboratory-based coursework. I also served as a Teaching Assistant at IUPUI - Indianapolis, supporting instruction and student learning in biological database management, which strengthened my ability to explain complex scientific concepts in clear, practical terms. In addition to teaching, I bring several years of research experience in biomedical and life science fields, which allows me to connect textbook concepts to real-world scientific applications.
I have experience working with high school, undergraduate, and graduate-level students in classroom and one-on-one settings. Over the years, I have helped students prepare for exams, complete homework and lab reports, and build strong foundational understanding in biology and biochemistry, particularly for pre-med and pre-pharmacy pathways. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple, intuitive explanations and adapting to each student’s learning style. I emphasize concept mastery rather than memorization, using examples, visuals, and guided practice to build confidence and independent problem-solving skills. I am patient, structured, and supportive, and I tailor each session to the student’s goals, whether that is improving grades, preparing for an important exam, or gaining long-term confidence in science subjects.
